Common funker hand microphone makes a nice addition to any radio display. Suitable for stationary positions. Transmit only when button pressed. Contains short three-pin connector for radios.
Currently producing third series.
Microphone body consist of the three main parts: lower body - grip, upper body - button protection, perforated membrane with title engraved "Feind hört mit - Enemy is listening". It holds together as original by 2+2 screws. Interior contains new, modern electronics and button. Cable outlet is protected by flexible spring where it leaves the microphone body. End of cable is protected by rubber reinforcement, finishing by shorter 3-pin connector, suitable for Feldfu. Short ending is needed for closing the lid during transport, otherwise lid won't fit with mic plugged.
Please note: wartime electronics had slightly thinner wires. Nowadays, with EU standards everywhere it also affected wires. Even vintage-looking textile wires need to have installed safe plastic isolation inside which makes them more thick than original. Main photo serves for comparison (left repro, right original), wire difference is about 2mm.
Sadly, original Hmf.a microphones are not compatible with modern radios. Therefore we offer reproduction version to use with modern replicas.
