French’s Instant Mashed potato

Canned instant mashed potato is great for events where you need to feed larger groups of people. One can make enough mashed potato for a whole squad! Here are the instructions how to prepare it: Add three teaspoons of salt (12 grams) to 1500 ml of water and bring to a boil. Then remove the pot from the stove and add 600 ml of cold milk (you can use our dried milk) and butter to taste. Pour in the contents of the can and mix thoroughly. Let it sit for a minute, then mix thoroughly again and you can serve.

FYI your M1910 canteen’s volume is one quart (circa 950ml), your canteen cup’s volume is 24 oz. (700ml) and your M1910 spoon can hold 0.50 oz. (15grams).
