M. G. Zieleinrichtung 40 is an important functional and visual part of a M. G. Lafette. However, current market situation does not allow to easily obtain any originals. Moreover, the postwar Jugo versions are very far from the original production. Even if 3D replicas appear on the reen market, they often have neither the correct dimensions nor the necessary detail.
We used our experiences with smooth nylon materials to deliver a visually faithful replica. Still, please do not expect working or perfectly detailed item. We consider this product a good looking from 30-50cm. A closer look reveals many imperfections: scratches from production, glue on the glasses, non-adjacent surfaces. Product does not contain threads for positioning axis. For photo/diorama/positioning purposes it is possible to move X and Y axis manually and stabilize by tightening screws.
2026 series does not include internal optics.
We produce also non-working one-piece light adapter. It was a permanent part of the equipment for illuminating the crosshairs in dark. It has become a hard-to-find original piece that could in good condition costs like this entire replica. We though it would be a nice touch to offer it together with MGZ. This is available for sale separately.
This product consist of cca. 50 parts (incl. metal nuts and bolts). We designed every part and printed from 3D nylon.
